Entrance Requirements

To benefit from SciCore’s academic programs, incoming students should meet certain minimal achievement standards in mathematics, English composition, and English comprehension. Consequently, all student candidates must pass a written examination prepared by the academy prior to admission. In borderline cases, deficiencies may be remedied in a summer program held at SciCore Academy.

Equally important to the admissions process is a formal interview with prospective students and their parents. This interview is a chance for students, parents, and admissions counselor to explore expectations on both sides. It is important for students and parents to understand SciCore’s commitment to strong academic standards in a positive learning environment. To achieve this environment, students must be prepared to make a comittment to uphold the values of academic honesty, fair-play, persistence, and adherance to behavioral norms.

Tuition and Fees (2012-2013)

The tuition and fees for the 2012-13 academic year are $9420 per year;tuition/fees for two students from the same family is $15,890; tuition/fees for three students is $19,960. Non-refundable quarterly payments are due August 1, October 15, December 15, and February 15. A Monthly payment plan with 5 % service charge is also available.
