Scicore Academy’s 2nd and 5th grade teams are National Champions. At the chess nationals in Dallas, Nov 18-20, 2011, 2nd grade team (Andreas, Nicholas and Costas Oskiper) brought 1st place as a team. 5th grade team (Hamza Khan, Jeffrey Cheng and Rishi Rajendran) also brought 1st place as a team.
Individually, Costas Oskiper tied for 1st place and Rishi Rajendran got 2nd place at the Nationals.
